Title: MY BIKE!
Post by: jrains89 on December 13, 2008, 11:47:43 PM
Finally put the $1660 bike together. New forks, new front cowling brace, new lower triple, and BAM!. all i have left to do is figure out why it doesn't run right and get a front fender. i need to add to the 256 miles.

they don't from the factory.

someone pulled off the wheels and stripped the paint, then polished the lip. nice looking ride !

there are prolly 2.5 million threads about how to do it... (90's mod)

or you can skip it and put reflective rim tape on them... (00's mod)

or get in the time machine and see that in 2010 people just paint them pink ;)

Or, have em painted white THEN put tape on em (still to do mod)  :icon_mrgreen:

Would look cool though, I think.
