HI AND THANKS FOR LOOKING AT POST.

I HAVE JUST GOD MYSELF A 89 GS500 WHICH HAS BEEN PARTLY STREETFIGHTERD BUT AM LOOKING TO BUT MY MARK ON IT. SO I AM LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE ON WHEEL, SWINGARM, FORKS AND YOLKS THAT WOULD WILL BE RELATIVELY EASY AND CHEAPISH TO DO.

Welcome to the forum! I too have an '89 I'm turning into a streetfighter. A guy by the name of Quiktaco on here is into the same style too. There's a streetfighter forum called customfighter.com that I'm on to. A guy on that forum has a gs500 with a one sided swingarm he custom made. I think his name is CZOKO. I'm working on my bike today(taillight. license plate, bar end mirrors). Ill post some pics when I'm done to try and inspire you a little.

WHY DO YOU HAVE TO YELLLLLLLLLLL. JK as far as mods go depending on your wallet and Fab skills they can be endless.
Just a quick list
-Forks
-Fairings
-Swingarm
-Rims
-Handlebars
-Exhaust
-Rear tail and seat
-Headlights

was realy asking for a items that are realy a straight swap that wont require much fab at all, bit of cuuting, grinding fine.

-Air filter + Rejet
-Rear shock with a stiffer katana shock
-Bars
-Pegs

which rim is easy  but nice and wide also which front end will swap pref usd's

To answer both questions at ones .............. Katana
but if it's the 89 then it's the only year GS with clip on handle bars and that it like the needle in a haystack
around here.

You will not find a front end that is a direct bolt on unless someone else did the work already. With that said any front end you like can be modded to fit.
