Title: GS issue
Post by: mach1 on January 02, 2009, 03:23:13 PM
Ok so recently I removed my carbs and gave them a good clean and edjusted the screw to 3 turns our(before they were off). I used to get some poping when choke is on and the bike is warming up and also some at idle now all that is gone. My problem is when Im in gear and trying to go it will sound like it wants to die and give me no power,l I can stay at about 5MPH but thats it or it will have no power sound like it wants to die than kick in than back to wanting to die, The bike revs fine with no load. Am i ultra lean or ultra rich.

I doubt it is your problem but i had the same issue on my banshee, it ended up being the slide was stuck up. I could rev the bike up no problem in idle but when i went to move in gear it just wanted to die. Or it could be a clogged jet but i doubt it if you just had the carbs apart.

could be a stuck slide

incorrectlt insytall vaccum or ful hose

or you may have done what i almost did...

make sure your needles are in the little slot not on top of them...

i'd for sure check your neddles as that can cause your issue
