Title: I love motorcyclists
Post by: Skeets on January 08, 2009, 11:26:51 AM
Good afternoon, I went to my friends house to get my lip pierced, parked the bike and put my gloves in the trunk. Stupidly I forgot the keys in the trunk key hole  :2guns:. So after about 5 hours I noticed I didn't have my keys!! So I ran out to my bike, and no keys on the bike....But a note. I was astounded.
The note said:

Dear fellow biker: You left your keys on the bike. They are in the store across the street. I'm just being a fellow biker. Ps: Check out gstwin.com. I was like wow.

So whoever, did this I really appreciate it. If I coould buy you a beer I would but I'm 17. lol.

Cheers,

Skeets

I have what you would call a snakebite. a stud each side of my lip , and a lebret , had to take the lebret out , as it keeps rubbing against my gum , it slowly wore it away in a year, so i had to take it out ,. to get my gum back

the ones eitherside of my lip havent given me one problem

I got a lip ring. Well you see what happened was.... I pierced it myself and then I put in a retainer and somehow my body healed over the back of the retainer. So she had to cut my skin and then put my lip ring in.

I have my eyebrow, lip, plugs, and nipples(both).

And I'm 17 :]

Glad that there are people out there looking out for fellow bikers. This may make me sound old but do you have a job?  I see alot of kids around here getting all peirced up and then dont understand why they cant get a good job or get judged.  I dont judge but sometimes i think sometimes young people dont think before they do things that could hold them back in life.  Im not tryin to judge just curious.

uh huh, people walk up and say "bandit" and their buddies always laugh, while correcting them:
"Dude, that's a geeeeee          eeeeeesssssssssssss !" with a bike grin on their face.

then they thrash whatever 2-3 times more powerful rocket they have all the way home. :)

This is why I get piercings instead of tattoos. I can take out my piercings, if a job would want me to. I do currently have a job and they don't mind my piercings, they just ask that I don't get any more facial. (They have clear jewelery for work also so you can't see the piercings)

I thought about all my piercings. I didn't get my piercings to "fit in" and what not, I wanted them and they mean something. People think I'm weird, or strange but I don't mind, I'm happy.

Looking out for fellow bikers!  Cool!

Just curious, How do piercings "mean something"?

They mean something to me. Their is a reason I get them. My eye brow is for my mothers death, my lip is for my gf, my ears are for my 2 brothers, and my nipples are for pleasure ;)

That's a pretty great story. BTW, I've had my lebret pierced for about 8 years now. Don't even notice it's there anymore.

thats certainly a different way to do it.  but if they're significant to you, thats what counts.  be happy.

I only have issues with people who wind up looking like circus acts with more piercings in them than anythign else.

I hope that you're not too much of a player cause you're gonna run out of room in your lips  ;)

just kidding mate. I had my eyebrow pierced too for like a year, but I had to take it off every morning before going to work. Putting it back in every afternoon sucked a big time, so I decided to take it off permanently  :dunno_white:
I liked it though!

cheers

Imo, it's cool that no one has. All to help out the rider, not for the recognition. You know?

What if you were a thief, you could just go across the street to the store and get the keys to someone's bike?

As opposed to them sitting out in the open in the ignition? I'd imagine the store would be a safer bet than that, wouldn't you?

I remember about six months ago went to a doctor's office was sicker than I thought. Went in had to be taken to the hospital ( heart went nuts). Friend asked where the keys were to get the bike to his house no keys  :dunno_white:. Asked the ER no deal even contacted fires station nada. A couple days later he got the keys from his house and went to the docs office guess what Keys were in the bike. So it sat for four days in a open parking lot next to a not so good part of town.  I'm guessing they thougt it was a sting vehicle you know to good to be true.

Yes I was. I couldn't believe one that I actually left my keys in the bike and two it was still there. Guess God was looking out for me. I would have lost it if my bike had disappeared. I'm not a materialistic person but I do love my bike it helps me feel normal!
