for $500? Custom dual can setup!
get a cheap slip on , and get a katana front end!
any pics to give me inspiration?
how would a katana front end fit
I vote carbon fiber Wileyco!
You can get them really cheap on ebay. Then all you need to is get ahold of the rare srinath flange and you are good to go. Or maybe you can get a muffler shop to custom make something.
I got both shipped to me for $130 from a forum member, deal of the century as far as I'm concerned. The sound is great (and I mean great! :thumb:), the can never gets to0 hot to touch, it weighs infinitely less than the stock setup and it looks awesome.
If you want to spend more, go full system, but don't spend so much on the yosh unless the brand name is worth it to you. A different note can't be $200. You can always slap a yosh sticker on whatever you get.
i dunno i thought the yosh sounded alot different but i could be wrong. and as for the wileyco i havent been able to find any. so jardine is my est bet?
I have a used V&H for 200. Its a full system with a jet hot coating on it. That coating has peely spots and there there is light rust.
Aanding and painting with high temp - It will be painted to look nice, or you sand/paint it, and I'll sell for 180. Anyway I consider sand and paint a yearly thing on most aftermarket, and 2 years on stock. Its a shade better steel IMHO.
Can etc is all great except for the bolts that used to be allen head button caps have been swapped for phillips head.
Its full system, not slip on, so just remove and bolt on. No cutting welding and you sell yours off ig you like.
Cool.

got a pic? hows it sound?

Spacers and a File ,. or a New Katana Stem Machined In
dam loving that swap! dual rotors look sweet and i assume the front suspension is better then the gs too? i hate the front suspension. i was gonna do something about it eventually. not a fan of the front wheel fender compared to the stock gs's ut i could live with it. what would i need for the swap and how do you go about doing it?
Jardine is good because you don't need to remove them when you drop your oil. They are well built.

fyi
a GS fender will directly bolt onto the kat fork brace
^ditto...use the GS fender...and F2 wheels to be a real pimp.
I like the Katana Fender personally , still have the Stock Gs one tho ,
I have the 98 kat wheel also , beefs the rear out a bit . Bubba put a kat fender on his Gs f/e , looked nice

got a pic? hows it sound?
I will have to get a pic. There is paint that has to go on in else it has some light peeling jet coat and light spots of rust.
Else, it look like a V&H pipe.
Jay_wolf, werase - I in fact like the GS fender on the kat FE, I think it looks better and like more pointy.
Cool.

i may try it , see how it looks
I bought a Muzzy right side slip-on from a 04+ Busa for 125.00 at the stealership.... I did a little cuting and it sliped on with out any trouble... made it sound like a pissed off 4wheeler!

which would you say is louder in real life? the V&H or the Jardine? its hard to tell from youtube clips.
jardine craftierod
If you want an exhaust that looks different to all the rest then it has to be the Yoshi TRS. If you don't want to ever paint your headers again then it will have to be one of the full systems.
good call. im swinging more toward jardine right now.
The Jardine is really well made too, and much lighter than the stocker, looks and sounds great and you'll love the stainless steel (non rust) header pipes.
They're also easy to install (as long as you can get your 4 exhaust bolts out) :thumb:
