Title: I need a rear wheel...for my mountain bike!!!!
Post by: Jackstand Johnny on January 10, 2009, 09:41:42 PM
IT's a long shot but craigslist and ebay left me stranded AGAIN. I have a 2007 Specialized Hardrock xc and I need a rear wheel for it. Its a 7 speed but I can convert something else over I guess. I know some of you guys are into mountain bikes too and I could really use some help here. Thanks!

pricepoint sells wheel sets cheap, than just swap the cog.

100. brand new front and rear,  LX  hubs with rhyno wheels  and you will have a spare front  :thumb:

you can get one off a Honda CBR125R ... but it might be too narrow for your mountain bike.

Could I use those on a 7 speed? It says 8/9 speed compatible, but isn't it easy to swap gears?

I think you'll need to change rear derailleur + shifter
