I just wanted to make a positive report about a company, since a lot of the negative gets highlighted moreso than good experiences.

I ordered a K&N pod from them a few days ago.. and the day after that, i had gotten a phone call from a very pleasant guy there. He called to apologize that they had none in stock, so they had to ship it directly from the supplier and it would take a day longer. :P
I was thinking, 'Man he couldve just not called me, and i wouldnt have noticed a day difference..'
I just thought that was cool. He was really polite and it made me feel good about typing in my credit card number and clicking order.
Just thought id share.
Just disproving the old retail addage Rashad.
You had a good experience and told a few hundred. Usually it's the other way around.

EXACTLY. Being in the position of business owner, and not consumer. The thought process is completely backwards. For some its even impossible to grasp!
I think they call everyone cause mine was the same way when I ordered from them. Prob dont keep much in stock and just drop ship from K&N.
haha, i got the last one in stock! no problems when i ordered mine! suckers

Oh yeah, because my filter was one day late.. my life has been ruined:
My girlfriend left me for my crippled, 123 year old great grandfather who has diabetes, pnuemonia, and syphillus, because the filter was late. She said he had better luck than me. Oh yeah, hes also a midget. So now we have to go on jerry springer next friday.
I was stripped naked and whipped with guitar strings for ten hours because my filter was late.. and then my attackers stole my filterless bike! In the process of leaving, the airbox came off because it was sick of being on, and it decapitated my neighbor.. so now i have a court date.
oh yeah, I was pulled over the other day in my car, because the cop suspected my filter wasnt here yet. He did a background check and sure enough, i had to pay a delinquent filter fine of $456.89!!
As if to make matters worse, On the way to work the local airport was hijacked and all planes were redirected towards my house... the hijackers mumbled something about K&N being late.. and umm allah.
Yeah, i wish i was more like you. Lucky bastard. :nana:
I've had mine for a few months so I guess your the one who has to wait. BOTH of you!
:nana:
Rashad: Sorry, to go OT but I am curious if you have repainted your exhaust ?
The neat freak in me is having trouble with all that rust in your avatar.
I can nag, can't I
Not only is it good to hear positives about a biz we may all order things from but...OMG Rashsd....you could've replaced Seinfeld! Toooo funny! :)
Good thing you're posting a positive story about a shop. Usually you hear only the complaints, so after a while it looks like every store is trying to rip you off, wich isn't the case. (Although sometimes it really looks that way :()

He should leave it that way. Everyone can see now that he really uses his bike, probably even in the winter! (Excellent way to get a rusty pipe :))
By the way: I've painted the exhaust because it was starting to rust. This helped for something like 5 or 6 months. Especially the downpipes get so hot that the paint burns off after a while. (yes, it was special heat resistant paint). I treat the bad areas like the collector box with old engine oil in the winter. It slows the rusting process. 8) Riding the bike everyday slows it too (not the bike, the rust :P

LOL... its funny you say that! My bike is leaking oil on the right side and because of that the rear part of the pipe has no rust on it! :thumb: kinda not a good thing, but.. ya know.
Its rusting because its a V&H and because i leave it outside. I TRY to use a tarp, but ya know...
Yeah, i painted it when the bike was rebuilt.. ohh 3-4 months ago. It lasted long :nana:
