Title: rider down
Post by: mach1 on January 13, 2009, 07:24:53 AM
A friend of mine at work totaled his harley this weekend and is in induced coma they said he may not gain control of his left side and the are where memory is stored in his brain is brused. He was making a left turn and went into the center divider. Alcohol was a factor but not sure if that is why he crashes. Please pray for a full recovery.

Hope he recovers...  :thumb:

Was he wearing a helmet? Was anyone w/ him?

I never let a friend ride drunk  Even if it means riding with another dude on the back of the GS  :icon_mrgreen:

My moms boyfriend took a bad spill on his vulcan a while back so i feel you... He was out of action for 2months with broken bones etc.  Some nice construction workers only put a sign out on one side of road (uneven centerline and he was riding the centerline) construction which he slid past.
Good luck with recovery.

I'm sorry to hear that.  My step mother is recovering after wrecking her motorcycle with many broken bones and a broken back.  Hopefully things will come out right and he will make a full recovery.

He's pretty much better now he's a pretty tough guy but he broke his right collarbone (and left ankle) so he can't throw a punch anymore...
