Apparently they have a way to explain this as well while still allowing Al Bore to make $ hand over fist.
Isn't that why global warming has been renamed to "climate change".
He will make $ making the earth cooler. Then when its all cooled ... he'll make $ making it warmer by sounding the alarm as to why is it so cold. That is why its "climate change" now and not global warming. That is the agreement with Al Bore. That's why he left the 2000 presidential election without suing the government. Its done, It was arranged by duck Cheney who will make money both ways too when we need oil companies to warm the earth.
Along the way he will make crappy bulbs that use mercury and other poisonous crap that will pollute our land and water. Then of course he will clean up the water without creating global warming. Then he will create global warming - now we need extra powerful heat emitting bulbs, which he will supply. Essentially he is "Climate and energy ayatollah".
Cool.

Windchill - nice point jughead/weston - here is another nice white lie.
And the time he started on his climate change charade the NOAA recalculated their formula for determining wind chill. Apparently if you were at 0 with 40 below windchill in the old system, you will only be 19 below with the new calculation. There you go, instant 21 degrees of warming.

I think there is tons of pollution, lots of this and that that is harmful that we are doing, no question at all about that, but I think man made global warming is like an ink dropper in a flood.
All it does is, allow Al Bore to rake it in. Wanna bet after reversing the warming, his heirs will be raking it in making the cold earth warm again, and then of course Al Bore the thirteenth will have to combat global warming again in the year 2491.

Cool.

BTW if man made global warming is real and substantial, you know what it averted. The Ice age.
Remember every so often we had a shifting of earths axes (sorry clowns screw you, plural of axis is axes and plural of Index is indices - Hate it when the whole freaking world is wrong - why dont you rewrite the whole dictionary and the grammar books to suit the wrong Idiots ... wait, that's happening ... OK the Buddha will be back momentarily ... again wrong. In a moment is not momentariily, for a momemt is momentarily) anyway back to the previous rant ... and in high school we were told we will ahve another ice age soon ... like all the ice makes the poles very heavy and the tendency of a spinning object is to put the heaviest parts to the outside - yea, that means equator will go through the poles, and the pole will go through the equator, and melting ice caps = no more ice age. Either way you lose Al Bore.

Wow that is what I call iterative ranting. Its like a rant inside a rant inside a rant. All of it posted in a thread which itself is a rant.
Cool.

glaciers receding means something is warming up. or less rain. i dunno, i only have a 6 inch scale that i'll trust to measure it ;)

as far as us changing the environment, yep, i think we are. we pollute, populate, and exploit all the nice places on earth. will earth care 1,000 years after we kill our species off ? nope. she'll prolly put up a nice flower in our place.

(I've hugged exactly 2 trees today, and given them something to breath by driving my crapbox to work !)

Global warming doesn't really exist.  Chuck Norris just got a little cold so he turned the sun up.

have yo unoticed while one pole s glaciers are receding, anothers are growing, global warming and or cooling is a natural thing. been going on for well hell since earthe became habitable. and will continure to do so. is man responsible. perhaps fgor a small part, but ill give into that, and say yes

The thing is: if we were causing some sort of horrible earth destruction by our polluting, theres not a thing we could do about it. Reducing our C02 emissions to zero wouldnt stop it. So why are we dumping buckets and piles and truckloads of money on a problem that a.) dosent exist or b.) we cant fix ? why? really why?

Oh we're polluting our way into hell. No question. I totally anticipate that WALL-E scenario - no question. Just that the Co2 we're pumping out is largely insignificant, irrelevant and if its even significant it is benificial in averting an Ice age. Cutting Co2 benifits Al Bore, and he's created the need for cutting Co2 and is making the products to fulfil that need.
The problem I have is that these products pollute much worse than Co2 does and they are imminently more dangerous.
Cool.

It was a balmy 30 degrees Today in charlotte. I instead decided to spend the day swwoshing down a mountain on my butt celebrating kiddo's 6th birthday. It was a entirely toasty 10 degrees over there in blazing sun. You know, snow, its soon going to be a thing of the past when this global warming thing takes over. So I bought 10 freezers full. When its all gone I'll sell ya some for 20 bones a pound. Take that suckers. There aint no business like snow business.
Cool.

We are having a hard freeze in Central Florida tonight. What happened to our 70's this time of year we normally don't get like this until next month. Well, yesterday was in 70's and tomorrow is 53. More than twenty degrees in 24 hours much less it is 31 tonight WTF.

And I don't care what you guys say when it is below 50 down here it is cold! To me it is like the 30's in New England. Spent Thanksgiving 07 up there with snow. Would love to live in Boston but with my implant the cold hurts too much. Maybe I'll be a snowbird!

18 this morning, 12 or so overnight and I am now a days making ice coffee in my car. I buy hot coffee when I am on my way home. I let it sit in the car. By morning its ice coffee, as the car thaws at start up, and I drive it to the highway the coffee also has melted enough to be good ice coffee. Then I get some as I am getting to work. I let it sit in the car till I am leaving work and its iced coffee again.
I hate Iced coffee cos putting ice in coffee dilutes it.
BTW Coffee is another of those things I think will get extinct if we continue our way of life. A coffee plant only makes ~1lb a year. Or ~30 cups worth.
I also am stocking beer in my garage and drinking it straight from the carton, the garage fridge almost never runs, leaving it open makes it colder ... etc. I think this "climate change" is really good for saving energy.
Cool.

We had a 39 degree difference from last night till today :dunno_white:

But I'm not complaining about it being back to where it is supposed to be! Supposed to get up to the eighties again.
