Title: Ack! Which plug covers the A/F screw?
Post by: neverendingninja on January 24, 2009, 02:46:54 PM
On the 2001+ carbs, there are two brass plugs on the bottom. One has, what seems to be, a hole drilled all the way through, and sits about 1/2 inch higher than the other(when the carbs are upside down). The other has a small indentation on it, and is recessed below(again, while upside down) the float bowl.

I need to know which controls the A/F so I don't pull out the wrong plug. :o

Also, how on Buddha's green earth do you adjust the float height? I got the bowls off and looked around, but didn't see anything that looked...adjustable.

when upside down it's the tallest one, i'm like 90% sure from what i've read. it's got a tiny hole in it.
