Title: vacuum port on left carb...with pics
Post by: tripleb on January 25, 2009, 01:36:04 PM
I've got my new rejetted carbs back from buddha and am ready to put them back on the bike.  I have the CRF250 petcock and need to cap the vacuum port on the left carb to get it to work.  the problem is that I can't seem to locate said vacuum port.  I've looked all over the left carb :dunno_white:

can anyone provide a picture of where it is?  BTW, I'm pretty sure they are +'01 carbs. here are some pics. is it the circled part in the third pic?

Use a T fitting and short the 2 across and the third leg of the T to vacuum fitting. That way carbs also have a vacuum synch and eliminate minor variations of synching. The Buddha may be going blind.
Cool.

Put a T where that hose is and send the third leg of the T intro the petcock vacuum line.
Cool.

I can't as the new CRF250 petcock only has the one output going to the carbs and doesn't have the vacuum line.  should I have a problem running the bike with the carbs as they are with a crf petcock?

OK that means the vacuum is fine. Dont touch that. So just fit the fuel line into the GS fuel line.
Cool.
