Did you run out of oil? Does the engine turn anymore?

There was nothing you could have done to save it, once a bearing starts knocking its game over.........start looking for another engine.

What he said. If you spin a bearing it's either you get really, really handy or new motor time. My son spun one a bearing at 6500 miles on the bike I'm riding now, it had oil and the oil had been changed properly (just couldn't prove it). Guess what Suzuki did for the warentee on a 4 month old piece of thier equipment.....NOTHING! The dealer wanted 2800 dollars to rebuild it, GMAFB.  I put a Motor I got over the internet in it (less than 1000 miles) for 500 bucks and 10k miles later it still runs fine and Suzuki as a company still SUCKS!!!
