Post by: BeerGarage on January 31, 2009, 12:06:30 AM
I have this windshield:

note the scratches.

I would like some protective gear for my wife.  She is M top and L butt.  I mean bottom.  I mean pants.

Or if you just really need this for some reason you can come get it or pay shipping.

Yes, I saw that, thanks.  Great deal.

My wife would not wear that.  She is not really into riding.  She would want something semi fashionable.  I hope I can get her hooked, then we can budget for some good leather.  That is why I am looking for something semi free now.

Or maybe some kids gear.  An old motocross helmet for the boys to play with.  A pair of gloves or something.

I do not really think anyone will swap a full set of leathers for a scratched windshield.

PEACH!

if you have or could get a buffing wheel you could wet sand out the scratchs out then buff it back to like new condition and for this little work it might really pay off in the sale of it.  just my 2 cents worth tho..  i used to buff out my sun glasses at work when they got scratched.  just like new.

Thanks, Mary.  I'm on the other side of the continent in CA, so that would probably be more of a PITA than it is worth.

Hey, CA:

I don't need a windscreen, but I have dirt gear (roost protector, gloves, kidney belt, jersey and MX pants, MX boots, knee and elbow protectors) that would fit a kid that I'd sell for cheap.

I have a stylin' pink leather jacket and a pair of textile pants that might fit your gal.

I'm also very persuasive about the marital bliss of spousal riding.

Hey roadstergal
sick lean angle in your avatar!

I showed my wife a beauty of an Astars? jacket on ebay, pink, she took one look, that's all it took, she said no and walked away.  There's a song in there somewhere.

My boys are 2 and 4 years old.  Any of your gear fit them?

Anything you might want to barter for?  Tools, books, database programming?
