Can anyone suggest a good place on line to order OEM parts for 2001 GS500.
www.bikebandit.com
I concur. Easiet drop down menus bar none... Straightforward website that even has microfiche for times when you don't even know what the part you are looking for is called.
parts cost less at ronayers.com but use bike bandit to get the part numbers to order on ronayers.com
Ron Ayers is significantly cheaper than bikebandit and I've had good customer service so far (even when their silly parts search engine let me order parts they don't have). They don't have microfiche on the GS yet, so bikebandit is a much better place for looking up part numbers (though some of their scans make it hard to reader certain part numbers).

BikeBandit has only the Busa listed so far for 2001 and nothing yet for 2002 GS500. I used same process for parts for fixing up the 97. Get number from BB and order from RonAyers.
Parts Depot...800 245 3101...Ask For Robert...tell him Srinath told you...they are 20% cheaper than Bike bandit...and in some cases they will sell at cost, and they also drop ship some things from the factory...In some cases they also pull the best aftermarket (People that make the OEM parts and supply to the factories...like Ricky's stator and sell those too...) The best part of owning a suzuki or Kawasaki is this IMHO. Cycle depot and bike bandit are evidently related sites...and some of the eliminator.org guys have set up 10% off the bandit prices for the eli site...mention that and you may luck out...BTW cycle depot is cheaper than bandit evidently. Anyway Parts depot is cheaper than both of these, but I dont have a comparison between parts depot and ron ayers.
Cool.
Srinath.
BTW, anyone know offhand how PartsFish prices compare to Ron Ayers? I was going to check it out but you have to create a login just to browse, which seemed like too much of a hassle for its likely savings (hey, I'm lazy).
Last time I was on Bikebandit, they removed the Suzuki numbers and only listed the cross-referenced Bikebandit numbers.
