Hi,

I'm having problems with my tail-light. When riding along, with no brake applied, both lights will be illuminated on ...

When the brakes are applied both filaments on the RHS illuminate but all filaments on the LHS are off

I would have expected maybe (LHS filament doesnt work):

But I don't see why the LHS turns off completely .. ! I changed both bulbs and this still happens, how can I solve this problem ?

Any ideas ?

Try removing the bulbs and rotating them 180 degrees and putting them back in the socket. 1157 bulbs are "supposed" to only be able to be inserted one way, but this is not always the case. I had a similar problem in my truck when I changed a burned out bulb. Turned it and everything worked fine.
