When i turn my handlebars to full left lock when idling , idle speed drops then engine cuts outs. Idle speed remains stable in centre position and on full right lock.
Is this a problem with throttle adjustment if so what is the correct way to adjust. I have a gs500f 2005 European model.
You've got an electrical fault with the cut out switch attached to the underside of the clutch lever perch. Take it apart and clean it.
More inclined to suspect the choke cable is incorrectly routed/adjusted.

I'll second this, but only like 1/2 ... I'll 1.5 this.
Usually right lock is choke, but who knows how your cable is routed.
Cool.
Buddha.

First thing I thought when I read this. Easy to check, at least, and quick to fix.
