Title: OK here honda screws up what suzuki screwed up differently.
Post by: The Buddha on February 14, 2009, 06:42:13 PM
OK the M109 suzuki had a great rear end, but its front end was fuuuggggly ....
Now Honda Fury - http://powersports.honda.com/furyreveal/#/see/photos/studio - beautiful from almost all angles, but ... WTF is that skinny ass 130 rear tar doing there. Sorry chowder head bean counters, for you to freaking charge 15 grand for a tired old VTX with new body work ... we're gonna also need a fat ass rear wheel. You may not get why ... and really we dont freaking care, but fat rear wheel is a must.
Cool.

I think the 15k is absolutely retarded, but the 130 rear doesn't bother me...but I hate having wide tires just for the sake of having them.  If I have a wide tire it's because I need it for traction.  I have a 4.5X17 wheel that'll fit the back of my GS750 but I'm not using it because it doesn't need a 170mm tire...and 170's are more expensive than 140's.
