Title: Who the FSCK allows these A$$HOLES to open businesses.
Post by: The Buddha on February 17, 2009, 12:33:01 PM
Trump Resorts files for bankruptcy, again
Casino company seeks bankruptcy protection for third time

You'd have thunk, after the first 2 he would have been smarter or atleast the burned investors would have been more cautious. Or freaking hell I dont care, they should've arrested him.
Debtor's prison. Only way to keep this house of cards going.
Cool.

what happens to us when we have debt we cant pay? we get court orders garnishing are wages or get bad credit reports where no one will loan to us, and if we file for bankruptcy we are screwed for like 7 years...

so we punish those trying to make it yet applaud the the ones who caused all of us to go into debt in the first place.... yea makes sense *sarcasm*

IDIOTS.

IDIOTS.

the only people that caused so much debt, case by case - were greedy people. the banks were more than happy (as always) to get rich on that 'i have to have a 4000 sq ft home!' feeling. you -can- blame them for being dumb enough to imagine that folks could keep up with the payments for 35 years. ;)

there is a good deal of shame to be spread around, but apprently having a nice suit means you are immune.

don't call the working stiffs saints either: how many folks you work with have over extended for another new car, or house, or fishing boat ?

there is enough shaZam! to be bought/sold/traded in the US that we don't need to produce another NEW car/truck/boat/motorcycle for at least 5-10 years... but people STILL BUY NEW shaZam! every day.

i see a bunch of insecure assholes on the way to work every morning. and they're all in a hurry.

;)

nothing wrong with making a new purchase though. or financing it for that matter. i bought my new 09 corrolla and financed it over last summer. and still had the money left to pay my mortgage, food, gas, electrice, insurance etc. AND had enough left over to take on a bike payment if i so chose....which i did not, we used that money to go out to eat.  :icon_mrgreen: but, none of that matters once one losses their job.  >:(

I'd like to be able to stiff all my creditors and still hold on to the stuff. That's it, simple. Lets see how well it works.
I wonder if as GSTwin we can declare a collective and individually applicable bankrupty. Sorta like a package deal. We'll find a lawyer on GSTwin, and he will make up papers for you, you will have blanks to fill in for the stuff you have, and he will end that section with legalese that says "I'm keeping all this". And you will have section 2 which will list all the $ you owe people, and there is more legalese at the end of that section that says "screw you fool". Its like a few 1000 people bankruptcy deal. It will be much cheaper than this fool's 1 bankruptcy, let alone 3 and it will benifit over a 1000 americans who have demonstrated the ability to be wise and frugal cos they own GS500's. BTW SPC, r'gal and An, sorry offer not available to non gs500 owners.

my 3 cars, 21 foot sail boat and two motorcycles = less than one 20k car which is the going rate for a decent midsize or sporty car/4x4 truck... and my truck was brand new when I bought it in 2006.

It might seem I am living high on the hog but as you guys can see in all those things I own they still are less than what most Americans spend on one of their cars/trucks.

plus I do all the work onn everything myself. :)

Now with that being said it is very irritating to see a woman with 2 kids paying in foodstamp/cardnalcard while wearing brand new fubu leather gear as well as her kids and driving away in a navigator with 20's

that is what is wrong with our economy

Yes we need a sign and drive "Bailout Enhanced Stimulus Plan".
Its going to put lawyers to work, get money in the hands of people who will spend it right now, and it helps everyone keep the $ in their pocet and stimulate the economy. Best of all, it will cost much much less than the bankruptcy of Trump which essentially benifits 1 man, and detroit bailout which pays companies that fire american workers, in contrast this will give americans the freedom to be creative with their time and money to do as they choose and be innovative.

Think about what would you do if you didn't ahve the bills to pay - think.
For me its easy. I'd develop a cold fusion reactor that uses cold fusion inside the motor of a GS500 and powers it on garbage and carbon di oxide and exhausts gold and platinum which will be pumped in molten form from the exhaust and it will cool into ingots when it gets into the collector, and from there its useable as gold. See how much benifit I will provide. American innovation, done by Injun man with Buddhist name. So much for renouncing worldly possessions, I want gold dammit. I'd set a switch that can be set to platinum if gold becomes too much.
Cool.

thats not how bankruptcy protection works. just means the debt isnt paid back at full rate and some debtors dont get paid, but the bankruptor doesnt keep everything. court sells it off to pay the debts.

Oh yea ... then how is trump still the owner of the several casino's that have filed bankruptcy 3 times.
OK OK I know the casino's were all part of trump RE before the first BK, they were spin off and then well, past that they were sold to creditors and trump only has a small stake etc etc which maybe he expanded on etc.
Cool.

the so called loses are only on paper and written off taxes. this allows the companies to get through the rough times and survive.   i am not supporting this system just posting a simple explanation.  HD has done this as well as chrysler
