Anybody live in the area? I might have the opportunity to take a job working for Delta. I'd be living near the airport... great sleep would be waiting. Anybody familiar with that area? Pros/Cons? Good roads?

Sounds appealing... lol
11.5 months of riding weather. Unfortunately, 99.99% of that you'd be dodging errant soccer mom's in monstrous SUV's, blind old ladies in 18ft long caddilacs and wanna be Gangsta/rap stars in escalade's with 40,000 wheels.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ and that sums it up good. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The list of negatives keeps growing, on top of the negatives I already thought of before I posted this thread.
The list of positives...well, it's work. I'd probably learn some things... make some money that's about all I got. It's not looking good for this job.
BTW all areas that are considered decent to live in are commuter hell holes, and 20 corridor toward airport = disaster, so is the airport, but get out of town in that direction, like newnan and that side, its a lot better. Country without many commuter colonies. Toward 400 and 85 and 75 = sprawl hell.
In fact that airport was a nightmare, going back to the 80's so that limited the sprawl in that direction. That actually has made it one of the best locations for commuting in to atlanta.
