What do you guys know/think about this?

Sure, someone could just rip it off the bike, but it might not be very noticeable.

Kinda neat. What will those inventors think of next. It is weather resistant, so I wonder if it has a rubber seal around the opening, which would hopefully make it more rain resistant.

I've severed my fender and replaced with a bracket that shouldn't deal with the weight of a wallet and keys.

I had my lunch box blow off the rear of my bike at 85mph on 95 South a week ago (bungee let go, felt the rush of air behind me, looked at my left bar-end mirror and saw it bouncing down 95 with my cell phone in it  :nono: ), so I'm a bit skiddish about putting anything extra on the bike at this point.

It might be useful for smaller items. That auction represents no bargain, though. The same thing can be purchased from CycleGadgets.com for the same price anytime you want.  No affilliation either way, just an FYI.

Wonder if it would push plate out far enough to keep it from getting light from the tail (to stay legal).  Other than that, pretty cool.

Man, I've wanted to lunch my cell phone off my bike at 85 soooo many times.  I kinda envy you for being able to say that.  Even if it was on accident.  Did you get it back?

I've looked at the little bike trunk too.  My thoughts were:  The space under the seat works just great with a zip-lock bag.  My fenders cut too, and I think it will take away from the sleak look it's got now.

I'd save it for a tank bag or back pack. That and a cargo net and bunjees and some rope and your ready to be a courier ;)

I pulled over within a half mile of the seperation and ran back to get it. The bag (textile with a hard plastic reinforcement) came through just fine. The cell was in the outside, padded pocket and was still on and functioning.

Takes a licking.......
