Title: Where can I find matching paint for 91 GS500?
Post by: tom42 on February 23, 2009, 11:01:10 AM
Anyone know where I can get OEM Red paint for my 91 GS 500 or a close copy?  I know it will be faded, but I only have 4200 miles on it so it shouldn't be that bad.

Thanks

Most paint stores can mix up a color for you based off the paint code.  Might want to check suzuki for the paint code but I'm sure there is a link somewhere that will have all the codes of paint suzuki used.

Thanks,

Nick

I paint bikes, if you are trying to match a color  (touching up) and need exact color, ...colorrite.com is the only place to get it. if you are repainting the whole thing....bring in a sample to a paint store, and look through a catalog to find a really close color, get that code (for future touch-ups/reference). it will be alot cheaper that way.------EVILLONE :D

Ooo, you work at a paint shop. Sorry to thread jack, but can you give me and idea how much it costs to have a professional shop repaint a bike that is GS sized, assuming it comes in already disassembled?
