I bought this a couple of years ago on eBay and never installed it and I have since sold my GS. I have put it up on eBay myself and locally on Craigslist. If anyone is interested please make me an offer!
I paid about $80 for it and since the market seems to be flooded with similar items, so I don't think I will make my money back. But if someone can benefit from it then it is better than putting it in a landfill.

OK watch me shoot myself in my foot.
SV650 shock will not even fit. OK it will, but barely and its like really weirdly tall and has no adjustments. Useless mod if you ask me.
However this aint no SV650 shock. This is a 89-98 or maybe all the way to 02 or even 08 Katana 600 shock. It does fit (though that clevise in the pics you put doesn't seem that obvious as a deep clevise) a GS quite easy and its a big improvement over any thing else for a street bike. SV650 dont even hold a candle to this one.
And for sale post, works when you call a price and call a shipping $, BTW flat rate box will take this thing, its $10.35 anywhere in USA, and you're accurate about what you're selling.
So dude, just call it, it is better than you thought.

Oh take off that linkage and toss it in the trash. That is truly useless.
I would ask for it so I could make some gruesome experiment with it but I have like a dozen of those ... people strip the bolts by not getting on it properly with the wrenches and tear them up, then they sell it with it. I ask for 10 bucks off if that shaZam! isn't off there. I then hack the head of the bolt off and remove it with a punch, of course its work I have to do driving top my welders shop, working around the junk he's fixing around there and get it cut, and hence I need to get them to pay for it.

It was advertised as an SV 650 shock.
Is it junk or worth something?
Does anyone want it?? I am moving again soon and really trying to lighten my load.
Its a good Katana 600 89-98 or even through 09 shock. Its far better than a GS shock and really really really 1000 times better than SV.
I said I am shooting myself in the foot cos I sell these ... so I am sorta educating my competetion.
So like put a good post without all my garbage and list it with a $ and get it to someone who will use it. Call it a stimulus and ask the gubbamint for a bailout.
