Title: 2007 GS500F - Akron,OH
Post by: jreese86 on February 26, 2009, 01:15:49 PM
I was originally going to wait until spring, do some maintenance, and post this thing with a higher price. But if someone wants to make it easier on me and just come by and pick it up as-is out of my carport, I'll let it go for $2750.

It's a great bike to learn on. The only thing it should need is an oil change, maybe new pads, and possibly a new battery unless something broke while it sat over the winter covered in my carport.

If someone wants to trade down I'd be interested in adding cash. I'm looking for a 2003+ SV650S/SV1000S, 2001+ GSXR600/750, CBR600, CBR600F4I, ZX6R, or R6.

2007 Suzuki GS500F
~5,800 miles
Decent tires, only 1 season/1500 miles on rear tire
Parts/labor warranty left until May 2011 from Midwest Motorsports in Uniontown. (Cost me an extra $500 at time of purchase.)
The bike has a few scratches and a crack from what looks like a no or low speed fall.
Also, the title is marked "True Mileage Unknown". Midwest Motorsports said there was a goof up with the title when they acquired it from the previous owner. You can tell by looking at it that the bike doesn't have more than the marked miles, so its very unlikely the odometer has been tampered with.

Bump.

Gonna pull the battery tomorrow hopefully, charge it up with a tender, see if it works. I'll make sure the fuel is ok too. Once it's above 50 degrees I'll make sure it's gonna start up.

Got it started up today. Put some water remover and fuel injector cleaner in the tank, jumped the battery, and let it warm up for a bit. Took it for a quick spin in the parking lot, everything seems great. If the battery holds it's charge it'll be ready to ride! Only thing it could use is some fresh oil, but the old oil has only been in there for 1000 miles and 8 months. Price is going to go up soon once the weather breaks!
