I'm proud of my bike so I'll post it anyway! :nana:
Insurance is a little pricey though.
Has anyone attempted to ride or even crazier try to turn that thing ?
A few of the Chrysler guys have tried riding it. However, they are not allowed to go over 45mph for fear of it tipping over. its got that problem. I saw video on tv of a guy riding it. damn it was cool. hed hit the throttle just a lttle and the front end would jump. imagine 505 hp. thats unreal.
theoretical topspeed of over 300mph, 0-60in 2.0-2.5seconds, depending your source of info. suck on that ducatti!
In my opinion, the best show vehichle ever made, as far as just plain being cool is concerned. nothing can touch it in that regard.
imagine pulling up beside a haybusa, or even leno's jet bike, and giving either of them a severe ass kicking! it would be great, and youd look more badd ass than any harley ever could!
But it is all hypothetical until they do it.
I'll give it a proper test
It has 4 wheels and tires. It's not a motorcycle, no matter what they say. It's a really narrow car. A really narrow, really fast in a straight line car.
The first time that thing was emen moving was for the photo shoot, and it was going 35, at idle, feathering the clutch. It has never been turned to my knowledge. They are developing a hydraulic system to hold the tires perpendicular to the ground, and allow the "body" to be leaned into the corner as much as like 45 degrees. It's just insane!
It hink its closer to a motorcycle than it is a car. Thats just my opinion. The only reason it doesnt have only 2 wheels, is becasue no one could hold it up on two wheels, and the width of the engine. there are alot of issues with physics that would agree with 2 wheels. its definatley not a narrow car.
it was taken to the salt flats and gotten up too about 175 before they stopped it, they are making improvments and truly hope to actually see 300 out of it
looks to me like it might have 2 wheels and 4-tires, placing it somewhere in the middle... but I have to agree with Rich500, definitely a bike because of the riding position and steering mechanism.. a freakin' weird bike that we will never see on the road, but a bike none the less... saying that's not a bike is like saying that drag racers aren't cars... sure they only go in a straight line, but they still meet the basic criterea for cars.. rider in a cage, 4 wheels, steering mechanism etc.

Thats what I wanted to hear. I was afraid it was just a glorified pedastal for the engine.
LEGALLY it's a car. In the wording of the law anything with more than three wheels is a car, anything less a motorcycle.
IN SPIRIT it it definately a motorcylce.
Whatever the f%$k we want to call it, it is the most badass vehichle to ever see pavment. Most would probably agree. Think about it. 505hp,between your legs. Your RC51 seems pretty weak now hey? The closest you could get to it, is straddling a cruise missle, cowboy! YEEHAW!!! DAmn I want one. Suck on that Japanese bike, Euro Trash, pansies. Only a stupid ass good ol boy coulda come up with this.
