Suuuucks. Just had my shoulder rebuilt 11 months ago myself. Surgery is fine. Recovery... a Buddha Loves You. Torn ligaments are noooo fun.
yeah they had just finished healing from a bike accident over a year ago aswell :(
My ankle still hurts at times Good Friday will be a year since the moto incident. I know how you feel three torn ligamets for me six weeks on crutches and two monts of torture uhm I mean physical therapy. I did have to ride the bike six miles home thank goodness it was my right foot. But, then was a real Buddha Loves You to drive the car. In due time you will be up and legal!
Mary.
ok so i turn up for my test and it turns out to be cancelled due to bloody wind. AAAAAAARGH!!!! ffs
Wind goodness we did ours with a hurrican looming ?!?!? Boy they need to toughen up! Just the other day had 35mph wind gusts here boy trying to drive on I-4 was awful.
In due time buddy in due time! Give ankle a little more heal time.

i cant take time though i move away in 2 weeks and need the bike for when i move otherwise i wont have transport back and forward :S
Can you do it where you move to? My down here the classes are going on constantly. I took mine in '07 was 150 now it's 250! I guess because you have to take it now to get your endorsement! Which at the place I went to was a piece of cake they did train you well but I think they should have failed the girl who couldn't handle the little rebel and dropped the scooter like four times. It was really really funny when the instructor was asking us what we intended on getting or riding. This girl was not even five foot maybe 110lbs. Guess what she said she was getting? A Hayabusa! AHHHHH! the instructor was trying very hard not to lose it but I did. Then we had the big harley dude I don't need this I've ridden all my life he dropped it during the test. Which served him right he acted like a jerk know it all the whole time. Even when the instructor said he was doing it all wrong.
I was the only one that never dropped it! Shoulda dropped it then cause I dropped mine the first day and broke the brake lever. At a stop sign no less didn't have the friction zone thing quite down yet and he took right off and I stayed where i was we both fell over. OH how that hurt my pride! My best friend walked slowly over he could tell I wasn't hurt from the long line of curse words helped me pick the bike up and get it to his house. Now that's a friend he waited until my back was turned to laugh his arse off!
I really hope you get the class soon and good luck. Read up on the net there are some great articles out there.
