Title: I just found a place to get an undertail kit for the gs500.

I emailed them for a price but they sell them.  If anyones been looking.

Woah, the one for the new models looks kickass. Let us know once you hear back on the price. If its less than $100 it might be a better looking and safer choice than the clear alternatives signal.
Unfortunately I bet these cost a lot more than I want to spend.

yeah if its under 100 ill be getting one this summer but i bet its about 250 or so.   but i wil let everyone know as soon as i hear. :thumb:

I have the pre 2001 laying around , if thats what ur after , im sure i can do a better price , its no cracks or anything , its straight and true , just has a few light scuffs from fitting

Those rear-swingarm covers are for stunting... i.e. giving you a place to put your foot when doing wheelies, etc... rather than running a wheelie-bar on your tail.

They look sick as just a cover though!

Painted undertail : now  209 euros SO $263.00 painted
Unpainted undertail : now 139 euros ( black ) $174.00 black

I love the look, but I use my mounting bars all the time as I carry a backpack strapped to my seat. I don't see any way to do that with that undertail other than maybe cutting slots out like you did on the firt version.
