Just won a genuine set of GS clip on bars with mounts and top plate from ebay UK for .99p and I was the only bidder :woohoo:. although it will cost 50 pounds for postage to australia but hey its still cheaper then buying them in Aust if you can find them.
But I would have expected alot more interest in them then just me as they are becoming quite rare. :thumb:
Rare? RARE?
Every UK spec GS5 since the model was launched 20 years ago has had clip-ons fitted as standard, the breakers shops are overflowing with them. You got them for 99p due to the overwhelming lack of demand there is for them over here, in fact I am surprised someone didnt pay YOU 99p just to take them away :D
Damn, if the ship to the US I'd take some :)
Fill your boots pal.

BTW you might find your cables are too short on full lock and topping up the brake fluid will mean leaning the bike over at 45 deg.
I meant rare here in OZ, the wreckers here will charge you 3 arms and 4 legs for a set of these. But at least you solved my questions as to why no one else bid in the UK. Thanks for the heads up about the cables and master cylinder. :thumb:
Im pretty sure i have a spare clip on set laying around off the 1996, i have a kat front end so i have no need , if i can find them , ill post abroad ,
