Just wanted to report that this winter I've started using a pinlock anti-fog shield, and it is truely awesome. I have the clear pinlock insert plus the Shoei shield (CX-1V). With the Shoei RF-1000, I can ride down to the upper teens without problems (17 degrees seems to be the magic point) Still, when pausing at a stop sign, it would start to fog up. With the pinlock setup, theres none of that. I've ridden with the pinlock down to 12 degrees and not had any fogging, even at stop signs. That's impressive :thumb: At $63 (newenough.com) it's not cheap, but sure beats the heck out of repeatedly applying Rain-x antifog and still getting fogged up. I expected the insert to be annoying, but it really provides visibility that's nearly as good as the standard clear visor.
