Here are the latest pics. Bike is basically done, just need to touch up a spot on the tank. Items done today were this install of the headlights, the bellypan, the pegs, and the logo on the tail. Exhaust will be done later this Spring.
Powerbronze belly pan and gixxer peg mod. After getting the alignment of the belly pan tightened up, I replaced the silver bolts with black cap heads.

$129.95 at http://www.superbikestore.com . From the info on the site they are the US/Canadian distributor for Powerbronze. The belly pan is the only part they carry for the GS.
When I ordered mine last week they were offering free US shipping on orders over $100.
SHARP BIKE ! :bstar:
nice job i love the yellow on the black tail :thumb: :thumb:
I love yellow and black. Can you tell? Yellow and black makes a bike look like a hornet, and hornets are cool. Clue me in cuz otherwise I don't get it. You took a practically new F model and stripped it. May I ask why? Why not just buy an old one then do the custom thing? Was it a crash victim? Then it makes sense. :thumb:
just wondering after looking at a few of your pics that you have posted what did you do with your flush mounts? and are you thinking about getting rid of them?? shoot me a pm if you are.

Not a crash victim, and I guess the only thing I can say is that the more I was visiting this site, the more I fell in love with the naked look. Now if you were to ask my wife she will tell you some long winded lies about how I can never just leave something alone, and always have to find a reason to spend money. :dunno_black:
This conversion was a fun project, and putting my own work into it has made it even more fun. Plus I now got a newer "old" bike.
Oh, yeah, I forgot to ask. I have the same grips, and I forgot to ask who makes them? PO put them on my bike so I don't know. Wifey will be thrilled when you tell her about the pipe, jets, and filter you need to replace the perfectly good pipe, jets, and filter you have now!
I prefer the naked look also. I have a saying. Bikes and women are at their best naked! :thumb:
