Title: Today...
Post by: annguyen1981 on March 07, 2009, 03:04:17 PM
WAS FUQQING AWESOME!!!

I rode the R6 for the first time this season.

While I was dragging the bike up from the basement, another rider on a red 600rr passes my house.  He noticed me and started waving excitedly at me.  I guess he hadn't seen many bikers out yet.  lol

Blue LED lights came out WONDERFUL.  Strobe in the rear taillights gives me a feeling of comfort.  The custom-made fender eliminator I made looks golden.

I'm happy.  :)  (with the exception of a great girl on the back of the bike)

I had the R6 out also. I put the bike back together after some winter mods. Washed and waxed it and changed the oil.

I've been commuting on my ZZR600 off and on this winter, but today was the first day that I went with the summer helmet and no balaclava.

Got the oil and filter changed up this afternoon.  All the while I was wrenching I could hear bikes whizzing up and down the parkway across from my parking lot.  It finally felt like spring is making its way into the area.  Next is the air filter and I should be good for the season.

They say tomorrow might be even better around here  :thumb:

everyone is giving BIIIIIIIIG biker waves lately. i saw more round headlights this week ... than ever. have you noticed no cars have cool round headlights anymore ? they all have those wild, crazy, edgy expensive as f%$k to replace ones. shame.

i'm going out tomorrow morning before the blue-hairs get on the road, and then again tomorrow afternoon after they've passed out on the couch. sweet.

rock on

Was almost 80*F today....  Had to work...  Backed bike out of the garage, push garage door button-NOTHING!  No lights, dead battery.  Yesterday I went too far with the key and left the bleepin' parking lights on!  >:(

Had to work AND couldn't ride = bad day for me today.

I rode mine to work today and have been riding daily since last Friday, I love it when spring desides to show itself for a bit in March, i'm just waiting for it to snap back freezing again, VA weather really pisses me off sometimes  :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
