Title: Steering dampers???

hey guys i was just wondering if there's any steering dampers out there that could be installed on the gs???

I was told that there is a generic damper that would work on the GS.  Can't remember off hand the brand, but it mounts the frame  (on the side under the tank) and a bracket mounts on the fork.

Not even most of the bikes that have dampers need em ... they need decent neck bearings. But dampers are cooler they think.

there have been a few folks ask, yes you can modify stuff and mount one.

but, if you're doing it to try and solve a problem, you're likely over looking a big problem. like loose stem bearings, or fork sliders, or alignment. just sos ya knows :)

dampeners are really only needed on race bike to help with high speed head shake right?

this is correct I beleive... I've already looked into it myself, but the bike really doesn't need it... kinda like putting a monster back tire on.... doesn't need it but looks cool

Or, improper tire pressures, old fork oil, worn tires...improper body position, improper throttle control...too much pressure on the handlebars/supporting upper body weight with your arms...
