I like lane splitting, I really do. It gets me to work faster. I know lane splitting is dangerous, but at least I'm not like these guys:

I know they're only on bicycles, but they are totally crazy!
And thats why I would never drive in NYC!
they do this shaZam! in chicago all the time...I saw a dude on a bike blast into this fat lady trying to cross the street.....oh my god it was crazy. It was like he hit a brick wall. the lady ended up ok and the biker guy had a broken collarbone
Wow...they're fast, agile...and nuts.
I've seen stuff about those bike couriers in big cities...those guys are insane.
wonder how many end up in the hospital on a daily basis
Those guys are idiots. The title of the video sums it up.
I always enjoyed following traffic regulations on my bicycle as it gave me far more of a reason to lay into others to blatantly ignore them at my risk, which i did frequently.
Reminds me of Ghostrider, the YouTube motorcycle maniac. How anyone does this for any length of time and remain in one piece is beyond me.
Very rude way to get around, but that is pretty amazing riding though.
Down here in Florida they'd be getting traffic tickets! Cyclists have to follow they same exact laws as cars. I.E. you must stop at red lights, stop signs, and pedestrians have a right of way. I did see a guy run through a red and almost hit a pedestrian he was run down by the horse cop LOL! I had to pull over for a moment and laugh my arse off. Can you imagine going to court for that. So, you got a traffic ticket on your bike by a mounted cop!
In Arkansas a guy in a wheel chair got a ticket for speeding. Going downhilll in a 25 then he was drunk and got a DUI! Does that mean he can't ride in his wheel chair?!?!
I've been hit by a car on my bike and hit once as a pedestrian by a bicycle. Both Suck! But, the stories are great esp. having track marks on my T-shirt!
Does anyother stated limit cyclist as well?
Mary
Call me crazy but at around 220 I'd like to have seen the car crack the door open then slam on the breaks...
Those people are crazy, but they can ride. I'd not survive a day there.
Messengers are insane. Just nuts, but they can get anywhere in a city in a fraction the time it would take a motor vehicle, a very useful trait for big companies and law firms. SOME of those guys make bank too. I met one in Toronto a long long time ago who had founded his own company, but before he did that he was making like 75k/yr.
