Title: Oil cooler?
Post by: danci1973 on September 24, 2003, 11:43:21 AM
Hi, there!

Since the new GS500F is coming with an oil cooler and since we all know how little does Suzuki like to change the GS500 engine - how hard would it be to add an oil cooler to our current engines? :?

That would be cool... :thumb:

99% chance it will fit on the old engines.

However, I won't be installing one. When it gets colder, the engine even gets trouble warming up. I've never experienced overheating even when it got so hot that the fuel started boiling in the fuel lines, you could see the bubbles as I have a transparent fuel line :)  (was almost  40 degrees celcius on the highway, bike quit because of vapour in the fuel lines, but did run well after I restarted it on  PRI.
