Title: Pics of my 2005 GS500F after the fix up.
Post by: alien87 on March 21, 2009, 03:32:46 PM
So heres my bike. It has 2800 miles and is an 05. I got it for 2400 and had to rejet it, put the exhaust on it, k&n filter, changed out the back fairings for black, fender eliminator, front windshield, clip-ons, bar grips, painted gas cap dark grey and put on CF gas and tank decals, and had to order 30+ missing screws/bolts.

Wow too much black in my opinion. But, I'm trying to figure out a color scheme myself!

I'm sure it's better than it was. Thanks for posting up!

Looks awesome it is amazing how much better the tail plastics look on the late models.   Paint looks perfect.

Don't listen to Mary.  She can't even keep her bike on its centerstand!   :kiss3:

I like it just the way it is.  Nice job!  It looks a lot like the 1987 GPX 750R (all black) I almost bought before I bought my GS.  It was sweet, but after I thought about it, I knew it was more bike than I really wanted or needed.

Hey I can't help dumba$$ people can't see a motorcycle parked appropriately at my house twice.

Guess I'll just have to paint my "Flick" Purple and Pink. Now that is HAWT!

I dunno something seems missing to me. But, hey when did guys take girls's advice anyhow!

Nah...I say get rid of the graphics on the tank and go totally NightRider with it! I think it looks pretty friggin sweet  :thumb:

(I'm just glad I don't have to keep all that black clean  :whisper: )

i would remove the tank sticker but its covered by a layer  clear and am not looking for any trouble. and yes i love the wind screen, it was a VERY tight fit but works really nice. i really wanted the blacked out one but like how this one looks too. thanks for the comments
