Mine had similar damage to the ignition cover, I patched it with car body filler, painted the cover black and it looks fine.
bike looks good, how you liking the clubmans?
Sorry to inform you guys, but the rx7 doesn't run so it needs the engine rebuilt ($800 OBO Waverly, Ne)
The clubmans are nice, I love how they look on the bike, but they kill your wrists when you're not used to them.
The more you ride with them the better it gets but even just taking a 10 minute ride after putting her back together from sitting through the winter my hands were numb.

Yeah, low bars will kill your wrists from your weight leaning forward unless you're going fast all the time. Stock bars may not look so racy, but they work!

I like lower bars. Even though I haven't ridden my GS with stock bars much, I much prefer my daily driver with Buddha bars. I like the way the bike responds to my input better with the lower bars. It seems to turn with less effort in a good way. I'm pretty tall and I've had messed up knees since I was 15, so my knees hurt way sooner than my wrists ever have.... I also spend a lot of time on the freeway, so I am going fast a lot of the time.
