OK these are finally done, thanks to all those who waiting so patiently. I dont sell crap that chips and flakes off no matter how long it takes ... :mad:

The general price is like this. Spring = 20 bucks, collar is $2, ring is $1 and 1/2 moons are $1 a piece. So 25 bucks in your choice of color. And no I am not going to be able to do "taupe" or "chartreuse". Color has to be 1 word in english.
Ask for "rain forest moss" and you'd get puke green, but dont worry It'll match your kawi, cos I'm sure you have one in your closet. :mad:
Anyway, the shock body is done with POR15 with flex cote on top. I may do 2 coats of flex cote if required, but these did well in 1 coat. Body is 20 bucks to paint. Its prepped and sanded etc clean, then treated with the blue stuff you're supposed to do before POR15, then I spray it. Wait ~3 hours (depending on weather) and spray flex cote, then 3 more hours and spray more flex cote.
Remember, shock not included. So you have to provide me with one, or buy one if I have it. I have several shock opening tools, but come out with a different one for which I dont have a tool, and I may have to complain and cry and make it (more $ and more time).

The shocks were derailed by a 100 things, winter, powdershop almost shutting a whole month due to holidays etc etc etc.

having swapped shocks for the first time this weekend... it wasn't apparent to me how they come apart. Out of curiosity, how DO you get them apart to paint them and such? I had no clue how to separate the spring from the shock :dunno_white:
Press that spring in and remove the C shaped cap out. Need some serious pressing tools though, buggers are hard as a rock.
Katana ones are even harder, you have to pry the 2 1/2 moons out of the retaining ring.
I can do this same job on GS shocks as well if any one needs it, its actually prolly 2 bucks cheaper. Cos it got no 1/2 moons + reataining ring. Its got a cheesy ass cap with a slot in it.
