Title: Anyone have a decent cylinder head?
Post by: ineedanap on March 25, 2009, 06:49:12 PM
Anyone have a decent cylinder head they want to sell.  It doesn't have to be in fantastic shape since it has to be cleaned and remachined, but can't have damage and must not have any previous machining done to it?  That, and the deck height of an installed stock piston are the last things on my list to have a set of custom JE pistons made.

Low miles too.

Awesome.  That was fast!!!

Is the valve seat good, or can it be made good with a valve job?
Never been machined or decked right?
Cam caps still there?
Besides the valve is it damage free?  Threads, fins, guides etc?

If it's all yes than you have a deal.   Sorry about all of the questions.  I trust you.  Just trying to make sure the machine shop can make it just like new without throwing huge wads of cash at it.  Thanks buddha.    :thumb:
