Title: WTB: Tripometer knob and screw
Post by: tripleb on March 26, 2009, 08:06:42 PM
I need the tripometer knob and/or screw that resets the trip mileage.  Does anyone have an extra?

If I send you $5 will you throw them in one of those bubble wrap envelopes and send them my way?

WEll, now I need one too! Seems like mine disappeared while out riding today  :icon_sad:    :whisper: I think TripleB did it! JK

But, if anyone has one same thing five bucks if you can send my way. I think he already got his! If not he's got first dibs.

they're not really expensive, but if you don't have anything else to order it is at least another $7 for shipping....

Ride by the seat of your pants and guess how much gas you have in your tank!  Show the Harley riders who's more free spirited.  I mean you don't even know if you can make it home.

But yeah worse comes to worse they're not too expensive new.  (although if anyone is giving 'em away, I uh know a guy who needs one)

Nah, got one for $9 at local shop.

Good Friday will be one year since I crushed my ankle because I ran out of gas! someone had reset my tripmeter when in the hospital for three weeks and put the tank on reserve. Ran out of gas at redlight  at the gas station! Hopped off to push pavement uneven the rest they say is history!
