Title: single filament or dual FLush mont turn signal
Post by: pwostrel on March 28, 2009, 12:18:40 PM
Hey everyone I'm looking at installing flush mount turn signals on the front of the GS, now there is an option of single filament or dual filament i'm not positive what that is, I think it has somthing to do with the ground? What one do I want? I'm guessing Singel but that's onlay a guess.  Thanks for the help.

yes u want single filament as it is only two wires to connect to, and should be cheaper for you too.

none at all... I had nice flush mounts, very nice indeed. Looked beautifully. PO installed them. I took them off. They [flush mounts] will never function as good as the standard turn signals. I know that the stockers are ugly, but you could find stockers from other brands or makes that actually look nice and do what turn signals should do - let other users of the pavement know that you're going to make a turn. Flush mounts, even though they look pretty, can't guarantee that.

PS. you may want to take a look at stock GSXR 2005 signals. I have them, and I also have successfully convinced other people that they are very nice, bright and look quite good too!

here is the video from times when I had GSXR 2005 rear turn signals and barely visible flush mounts up front

Thanks, I'm going to take that and not do it, I'm going to look into other options.
