Has anyone installed a tail light like this one and if so are you happy with it?

If you don't mind dropping $100 on a tail light, it looks pretty dang deluxe to me. Make sure it's legal in whatever police state you live in and if so, go for it!
If you want the brightestestestest, bestestest taillight ever, get one of those SV650 LED lights. It's the brightest thing I've seen from a stock bike.
What you linked to has integrated signals, and I'm completely against reducing the number of lights on a bike. Integrated lights look neat, and clean up the rear end, but it reduces the night time visability. I want the rear end of the bike to be the most obnoxious, bright, nasty lighted up thing ever seen by motorists.
Just remember how bright those new light bars are for police cars. LED's you can see for miles... and they don't skimp on the number of em either.
Light up your bike like the 4th of July BigShot, keep your life. :)
(Autozone sells an ugly brake light for trailers, and it's the 2nd brightest LED taillight I've seen. It trumps this for indication, no doubt)
I like my Yamaha R1 tail light just fine. I don't really feel the need for LEDs....
Ohgood, i have to admit that i'm a sucker for the integrated turn signals, but the thought of launching 5" report shells off the back of my bike definitely wins out!!!
Just in case they won't let me do that, i'll check out the SV tail light.
And the R1 tail light Fred...
Thanks, Bob!

the R1 light is cool (hot, bright) but the SV light is eye ball searing bright....
and someone has a snowmobile light on their bike... super bright
take a looksie on ebay, there are tons of options for tired gs rear ends :D
I got a similar, integrated tail light that is DOT stamped: http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=43787.msg528042#msg528042
Worth the money, but there's definitely room for improvement.
