Oh no, the buddha managed to stuff a GS motor in some sorta standard/cruiser.

Muhahahaha ...

In a way its the ultimate trophy. Rare as unicorn sheite, and it gives me an opportunity to test the 2-3 GR motors I got before stuffing them into GS frames.

BTW this one is busted, but may be minor. May be working tommorow ... maybe not till I'm 80 ... but maybe tommorow ...
Cool.

OMG is that a Tempter from 1983?  NO WAY!  There must be something simple Buddha can do to coax more than 50 hp and 7200 rpms out of that 650.  I can't wait to find out!

Deceptively quick.
It is on paper 8500 rpm redline with peak power ay 7500. In reality its got a jekyll and hyde thing. Under 4K its a cruiser, over 4k its flywheel disengages and it runs like a rev happy and even torquier GS500. That transition @4K is what made it a sales disaster, ... it positively lurches forward like its now got 2 extra cylinders.
Cool.

OK guys here is a racidal idea.
How bout putting a shorter shock on it, its got a double eyelet monoshock - I should be able to wrangle somehtign to fit ... and turning it into a cruiser.
Its never gonna be a sportbike, I aint into a flat track thing though it will make an insane flat tracker, way better than XS650 ... so lower the back end, shave a trench in the seat and call it a cruiser.
Cool.

Better yet why don't you get some new bars, chop the seat and make it a cafe racer.
