My little '05 GS500F has served me well, but it is time to move on. She is up for sale as I am picking up my 2003 SV650S tomorrow. I will be selling some engine components like a clutch, etc. as well. I will post up all thats for sale soon. Hope you like the pics
as a side note, I scraped both foot pegs (the left to hell and gone), the rear brake pedal, and my center stand... o wellllls :D
You have to get your shoulders to move into the inside of the turn to get extra ground clearance. Hanging half of your butt off helps, but moving the upper part of your body off the bike helps even more.
"Proper" hanging off

Excessive Hanging off

You can tell what it does to the angle of the bike relative to the ground. This is the same turn at the same speed, I was showing another rider how to hang off and was dramatizing my motions.
I may need the clutch. How much use does it have?

I know my form isn't quite right, but that was the first weekend that I got a knee down, and I hadnt seen the pics yet. Seeing yourself helps you improve

www.jenningsgp.com you cant go whenever, there are open track days. They do 3 classes, novice, intermediate, and expert. Me and my buddy alan, he's the one behind me in the first pic, were leading most of the day in novice. Its really chill, but most info is on the website
You must of had that GS screaming if you were staying out in front! Was that your first time at jennings? I did the Ed Bargy school there in the beginning of march. Fun track! Lots of traction. How 'bout that turn eight? What tires did you run on your GS? Did you use tire warmers? Nice pictures!

It was my second time out there. 8 is my absolute favorite turn, 7 8 9 and 10 just flow so well. i just ran bridgestone batlax's, I think those are what come with it. And I don't have tire warmers. i did just by a new bike though (http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb120/TristanBrankin/DSC00223-1.jpg)
Nice, congrats on the new bike. I really like that color sv. I was supposed to look at a copper sk3, but the guy never called me back...
thats annoying
Especially when I drove two hours that weekend just so I could go look at it. Then he calls me back the following Monday, when I'm back at school. :bs:
Congrats on your SV. Nice color! Here's a picture of my 2000 SV (http://i43.tinypic.com/eziqts.jpg)
