So i finally recieved gsxr shocks from buddha..
However i am confused.. The holes dont allign properly. how do i turn the top or bottom part of the shocks so that it aligns with the holes on the motorcycle. Here is the picture. Is this easy to do?

The way it is now.. if i put the bottom in.. the top hole faces forward and rear of bike and it should be facing left and right of the bike... or am i wrong here?
This happened to my Kat shock. If I remember correctly, I held one end in a vice (lightly) and twisted the other end to properly align the mounting holes.
that will work or you can bolt the top into place then use a screw driver or small solid rod make sure you go through both holes and turn it to the right spot.
Yea clamp it somewhere and turn it. Sorry about that ... but once you open them and refit them, you are in a fog about what goes where ... sorry.
Stick 2 long rods through the 2 - top and bottm and turn. Have a friend hold one end and you turn the other, some like that. No wonder they call him the budd-duh ...
Cool.

Can I threadjack (somewhat?) and ask if a GSXR1100 shock will fit? Like a 1993?

I've heard the gsxr 1100 shock is pretty much junk.
Yeah, I was looking at a FOX shock that fit a gixxer 1100, 1993 vintage. Good to know the stock one isn't great. But would this fit? (Threadjack complete!)
He's right, Do not get GSXR 1100 anything. Do not Get GSXR 1000 anything.
The 1100 shocks will fit, on a GS you'd barely know between a 750 and an 1100, but the 750 is much better.
Anyway yes, the 750 90-95 fits, looks like like this one in the pic except the blue stuff is black and dirty and rusty prolly and the aluminum body is dirty too. You dont want a rod that is rusty or doesn't keep pressure. I test for both of those when I get em. The powdercoating job was 25 bucks - I thin 20 not 25.
Anyway GSXR 750 shock I have for 75+shipping, powdercoated like this is 95 and shipping.
Cool.
