Hello all,
For the past 2 months, i have been cosmetically rebuilding my 1992 GS500e. I picked her up for $700 with 13,000 miles and it runs great! Just wasn't the prettiest bike i had ever seen. I received many great ideas from this site and wanted to thank all of you for such a great site. Tell me what you think! Heres a list of upgrades:
Vance & Hines Exhaust
2 new tires
Upgraded mirrors
Painted Rims
Bronze Paint
Upgraded turn signals
New rear brake pads
New Fork Seals
F18 Windshield

Ha. Now my bike has an evil twin. Looks good!
Nice paint job! I also like that windscreen, it looks great on that bike.
Did you paint your engine? What kind of paint did you use? I've painted mine a couple of times over the years with alleged engine/high heat paint and after one season it looks like sheite in the sun.

The engine was in great shape...i just touched her up with a little glossy black spray paint. I will let you know how it holds up. So far so good :thumb:
