Title: SOLD!!! SW-Motech handlebar risers for sale!
Post by: Trwhouse on April 12, 2009, 10:05:19 AM
Hi all,

These are SOLD as of today!

Thanks!

Trwhouse

Hey there,

I'm selling a like-new set of SW-Motech handlebar risers in excellent condition. They are silver in color.

They fit all years of GS500s plus a long list of other bikes. They raise the bars up 1 inch, and back by 1 inch for a more comfortable riding position.

Here is the TwistedThrottle.com Web page that lists them (I bought them from them):

http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/2016/217/

Here's the description:
Provides a more upright, comfortable riding position by raising and retracting the original 7/8" (22mm) diameter tubular handlebar. No need to replace your handlebars - simply remove the original top clamp, place the riser between the handlebar and original bottom clamp, and install the replacement top clamp using included hardware. Barbacks increase handlebar height by 25mm (1.0") and move them back 25mm (1.0"), producing an overall handlebar displacement of 35.4mm (1.4") at a 45 degree angle from the original position.

They fit my bike perfectly and required only slight re-routing of my clutch cable and front brake hose at the master cylinder.

Here is a list of the bikes they fit according to TwistedThrottle.com:

I put a set of these on my bike last fall. Any reason you're selling?

Hi Steve,
Actually, I really liked the riding position with these on, but I also like the stock position.
My girlfriend liked it with these on the bike because she was more comfortable not having to lean forward so much.
But she is gone now ...
So I don't need them anymore. :)
Yours,
Trwhouse

Hi there,
Thanks for your offer, but I'd go $60 plus shipping to you in the US.
That's my final offer. :)
They're beautiful and hardly used.
They are a great deal.
Let me know.
Best wishes,
Trwhouse

P.S. I originally typed in that shipping would be included, but that's NOT what I meant! I meant to type in "plus shipping."
Actually, I think I have a buyer now, for $60 plus shipping. I will update as soon as I am positive. Thanks!
