man, the stock ones were screaming like a banshee!
and i guess if you take a look, they may look like they've seen a banshee. hehe here's the old ones:

What do those look like from the side? They don't look horrible from the front. You might have been able to get away with just applying anti squeal stuff to the back of the pads and reinstalling them... Not that I'm ever going to criticize anyone for replacing a braking component that doesn't look quite right. Better safe than embedded in the back of the nearest minivan...
well compared to the new ones, they were noticeably thinner. the new ones fit nice and snug. there were a few small cracks, but not too bad. i probably could've kept them for another couple thousand miles, but better safe than sorry. --and really, the squealing just annoyed the hell out of me! :icon_lol:

what is this anti-squeal stuff you speak of? i may want to just apply that next time if i think my brakes are still good but just squealing.
