just about got the old Spec II ready to shoot. repairs are done, double fiberglass fabric overlays on seams where panels meet up (infused with epoxy and redrilled), and a complete set of stainless steel button head allen screws w/ stainless washers + "bib" washers (plumbing washer rubber, but harder compound) to go between metal washers and surface of fairing. all the hardware has been blasted and powder coated,
and in the process of a trial fitting to bike to make sure everything lines up before i finish her out. real happy so far, good bit of work, but looks to be well worth it. more pics to follow.

Pretty in Pink? Technicolor Yawn? ;-) :thumb:
Should paint the rest of your bike like that to match. Would be pretty awesome :D
yeah, it looks like i used the leftovers from some bizzare easter egg project- but, i'll paint her blue to match the bike.
i'm going to shoot a "flag blue" (real dark blue) gelcoat that i picked up from a Marine coatings company, it can be buffed out to a high gloss, should provide maximum protection (it's a 2 part catalytic coating), and can always be painted over at later date
Looks like the fairing that werase643 had laying around his lair a few years ago. Good work, man. If I hadn't had spent so much sourcing the F stuff I probably would've picked it up.
