Ok so i have been planning some large circles to explore and I happened across what appears to be a nasty little road right in my back yard, clicky (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=37.451286,-80.324478&daddr=Tab+Run+Rd+to:Tub+Run+Rd&geocode=%3BFarxOwIdZM43-w%3BFek8PAIdhos4-w&hl=en&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=0&sz=13&via=1&sll=37.440928,-80.275726&sspn=0.092136,0.136471&ie=UTF8&ll=37.427979,-80.287399&spn=0.368607,0.545883&z=11)
The only thing i need to do is explore a little and see which ones are good and which aren't, i am afraid that this one isn't paved but i will likely find out this Saturday. If it turns out to be good i might take a camera and some pics but there are tons of great roads right in my back yard. If anyone knows of Tab Run RD near new castle let me know it looks awesome.
edit: I was busy @ work, I got home and highlighted the road :icon_lol:
Looks like dirt from sat... But if if its not, its pretty bad ass
i was thinking it looked like a hiking trail from sat. photos....lol
Yeah i think its dirt to but i have been around that road a lot on rides but never gone down 632 so i passed right by it :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
now see, THAT is a fantastic road to get tax dollars thrown at it !
i found a new way home from work today. that is almost 30 seconds faster. and 30 turns better. and shaded.
like this (see below) >>>>>>>>>>>
+1 ohgood :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
Looks like it would be fun on a dirt bike.
so today after work i am adjusting my clutch, adding fresh coolant, and changing out my winter oil. Then come Saturday we'll see how deep into WV i get. Whenever i go on a all day ride i always end up further away from home than i though i would :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
