Title: who wants new ebc and barnett clutch springs for free?
Post by: ineedanap on April 15, 2009, 03:22:06 PM
Like the title says I have clutch springs that I don't need.  I tore into my clutch this week to swap in a complete kevlar sv650 setup into my GS500 and had some extra parts.

I have 3 Barnett SV650 springs.  New...never installed.  Can use in place of 3 stock springs to make a stiffer clutch (the kit came with 6, this is what I did with the other 3 springs)

I have 6 EBC heavy duty GS500 springs.  They have 200 miles on them and are obviously like new.  I was just trying them out since I had them.  EBC says they're 10-20% stiffer than stock.

In case you're curious, the barnett setup feels slightly stiffer than the EBC, and both are stiffer than stock.   If you NEED them you can have ONE SET FOR FREE.  If you give me good proof of your need or some rediculous sad story, I'll even pay shipping!

My clutch is starting to slip and I figured it's about time that I replace the clutch.  This will definitely help if they are still available and of course I'll gladly pay shipping.  Let me know and thanks for your time.

I guess the barnett springs are all yours then.  PM me where you want them shipped.

Don't worry about shipping, I got it.  (both of you)
