Title: Whats up with this?
Post by: devinc on April 17, 2009, 04:52:44 PM
Tearing my carbs apart and I noticed something funky with the valve piston. It's been drilled and I plastic insert has been inserted on one side of the needle.

Obviously, this is causing problems.   Does anyone know the diameter of the holes from the factory?  These little bastards are expensive and I don't want to have to buy new ones.

Not 100% sure but the PO may have rejetted the carbs with a Dynojet kit that requires drilling holes in the slide.
